On October 29, 2025, the annual meeting of the Hebei foundry industry kicked off. This annual meeting was themed "Unite and Forge Ahead", focusing on new industry drivers. It attracted foundry enterprises, research institutions and industry experts from all over the province and the surrounding areas to gather together to jointly discuss the innovative practices and development directions of the foundry industry in the fields of new technologies, new materials, new equipment and new products. During the meeting, the experts present explained the current policies of the casting industry. Taking into account the macroeconomic situation and market dynamics, they conducted a detailed analysis of the opportunities and challenges faced by the industry. The data showed that with the acceleration of the new industrialization process, the casting industry in Hebei Province is shifting from scale expansion to a quality and efficiency-oriented model. High-end equipment integration, green and low-carbon technologies, and intelligent transformation have become the core growth points. Many experts pointed out that the popularization of rapid detection equipment such as direct reading spectrometers and handheld spectrometers is reshaping the quality control system of casting enterprises.
